CHALLENGE

One of the leading gas and electricity suppliers on the Polish market has decided to modernize its communication channels in order to improve customer experience. With over 1,5 million active users and a requirement for a constant, reliable and uninterrupted service it was an impactful change to the previous way customer support functioned.

SOLUTION

Maintenance of telephone call centres serving millions of users is drastically more expensive than web-based solutions. This is why it has been decided that a web portal is needed in order to accomplish given objectives. e-BOK solution by Cross was implemented.

RESULTS

As a result of Cross e-BOK being deployed all requirements for the new system have been met. This in consequence led to decreased costs of customer support and increased customer satisfaction.

CHALLENGE

One of the challenges for financial institutions in Poland after economic transformation was a rapidly growing banking market. In order to stay competitive banks had to acquire or develop systems for trading government bonds and treasury securities, among others. One of the later challenges was staying compliant with regulatory legislations such as EMIR.

SOLUTION

In order to keep the leader's position on Polish financial market our client decided to entrust Cross with implementing a solution for trading bonds and securities as well as a back-office platform with reporting capabilities. The application is in use since 20 years. Building on that success Cross provided also the bank with a solution for derivatives reporting for the purposes of EMIR.
